Baby Jogger City Mini

Hubby and I had a trip to America on the horizon in 2008 and the prospect of lugging around our Graco Travel System was not appealing.  We headed out to Kiddicare to browse the pushchair section.  After a looking at lots of different makes and models, we stumbled upon a small display of Baby Jogger puschairs.  We are not joggers in our household but we were keen to have a lightweight pushchair that could handle any terrain.  The Baby Jogger City Mini ticked every box we could think of:  lightweight, stylish, easy fold, durable, proper sun protection, viewing window, affordable.

There are so many great features on the Baby Jogger City Mini that it’s hard to pinpoint a favourite.  It folds with a one-handed pull of a patented-fold system; you pull up on a strap on the seat and the pushchair instantly folds in half.  This is brilliant for quick exits like in a car park or airport or in a downpour!  You can fully recline the seat with a smooth release action and protect your child from weather with a cover over the ventilated mesh window.  The canopy is first rate as well.  It comes down quite far which provides excellent sun protection and also has 2 viewing windows in order to see your child.  The Baby Jogger City Mini is so durable and sturdy that you will be able to conquer any terrain, except maybe steep mountain trails!  The shopping basket is more than adequate and the raincover (separate purchase) is exceptional.  My Little Miss has always been quite comfortable and happy to sit for periods of time in the Baby Jogger City Mini and I feel that the cost (£180 in 2008) was more than worth it.  If we ever need a double pushchair or another single, we’ll definitely heavily consider the Baby Jogger series as we’ve been so satisfied with this model.
