Petite Star Zia- PurpleBerry

I am not typically a fan of lightweight pushchairs but the Petite Star Zia ended up converting me.  I never would have guessed that I would find a lightweight pushchair so enjoyable and functional.  We received the Purple Berry Petite Star Zia to trial as they had launched a new autumn range of colours.  I found the autumn colours quite appealing as well.  They were different than every other Petite Star on the High Street, as Petite Star is a rather popular model.

We used the Petite Star Zia on a second trip to the US and found that it stood up to airline storage, baggage carousels and inclement, cold weather famously.  Our Petite Star Zia also came with a carry bag which was extremely useful on the plane.  You do need to remove the wheels in order to fit everything comfortably into the carry bag but it provides excellent protection and makes transport considerably easier.  We were also given the matching footmuff (a separate purchase) which I found to be one of the best footmuffs we have ever had.  It has a thick fleece liner with a water-resistant outer which matches the pushchair.  It provided Little Miss with a very cozy ride!

The shopping basket is actually not bad!  Usually shopping baskets on lightweight pushchairs are very small and ineffective but you can put a fair few items in the Petite Star Zia shopping basket and not struggle.  When the seat is fully reclined, it is awkward to access the shopping basket but that is as with virtually any pushchair.  The handles are separate and quite comfortable although, if you are going to be walking for a while, you may notice that they seem a bit hard.  A bit of padding would be useful but isn’t required.  The Petite Star Zia has a very simple and quick folding mechanism which allows you to speedily get it in the boot of a car with little effort.

If you are looking for a lightweight pushchair that won’t break the bank and actually has a bit of style and substance, take a chance on the Petite Star Zia.  You won’t be disappointed…I know I wasn’t!
