Appliances Online

Last week I was contacted by Appliances Online who you’ve probably heard of (who sell range cookers, dishwashers etc. and have been on the charm offensive recently, yes they gave Josie her cooker) and they offered to send me a fridge.  I was seriously jumping up and down with delight, especially as ours was held together with duct tape and leaking due to feeling the force of Mini’s tantrums one to many times.

I received a phone call from Appliances Online on Friday and at 2pm on Saturday a new fridge turned up on my doorstep and they took all the packaging and the old one away for me.

The service I received from Appliances Online was second to none, not only did I get an automated call on Friday night confirming a four hour delivery slot, but also a text and a phone call confirming a two hour slot on Saturday morning.

The only issue we had with the fridge is that it came with a continental plug, but with one call to Whirlpool customer service we confirmed that is was OK to change it to a three pin one and we had a working fridge.

Having taken a good look at Appliances Online’s web site, the model that we got was one of the cheapest on the Internet (I could only fine one any cheaper by £2.00).
