Little Dish Favourites Cookbook

I fit the bill for the Little Dish Favourites Cookbook perfectly, as it’s designed for time challenged parents who don’t have hours to spend in the kitchen but want to feed their children nutritious home cooked food. That’s probably why I like it so much. It’s full of many of the recipes which I cook my children, just with slight twists.

If you want to get a cookery book suitable from weaning for your child, this one seems to me much better than the ‘must have’ Annabel Karmel ones as it uses really straightforward easy to obtain ingredients. Unlike many of her recipes you wont be trailing round the supermarket locating ingredients, a lot of the stuff is already there in your kitchen cupboard.

The cookbook is presented using the same artwork as the Little Dish ready made meals, which is lovely. However, I have to admit I like to see what I am aiming for and there are no photographs. Nonetheless all the classic recipes are there (and in easy to make form); Chocolate Brownies, Eton Mess, Banana Cupcakes and Aubergine Parmigiana are now all on my list to knock up this week.

The Little Dish favourites Cookbook is a perfect gift for any mums new to weaning, or a treat for yourself if you like expanding your cookery book collection. I like it, and it now sits proudly next to my Good Housekeeping Cookery book and Tana’s Kitchen Secrets, the cookery books which I use daily. You can get find out more here.

I was given a copy of the cookbook to review.
